MEDIA RELEASE: 2020 Gravity Racing National Championships at Port Kembla

GRAA would like to thank the gravity racing community for their recent enquiries regarding the 2020 Gravity Racing National Championships.

Due to COVID-19, there are government restrictions. Minister Brad Hazzard made an Order under Section 7 of the Public Health Act 2010 to force the immediate cancellation of major events with
more than 500 people. As well as Section 10 of the Public Health Act 2010 creates an offence if an individual fails to comply with a direction with a maximum penalty of imprisonment for 6 months or a fine of up to $11,000 (or both) plus a further $5,500 fine each day the offence continues.

GRAA sends their sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. The health and safety of our gravity racing community and spectators is always our top priority.
